A giant five-storey slide has been built inside a shopping mall in the Pudong area of Shanghai city, east China.
The multi-coloured ride, which has been placed directly in the centre of the Pujian outlet of Printemps Department Store, is expected to open to the public in March.
Photos of the massive chute were recently posted online in a bid to generate interest, but many people have expressed doubts over its safety.
Shaped like a twisting traditional Chinese dragon, the huge stainless steel tube is covered in coloured flowers, stars and a variety of musical instruments. It goes from the bottom of the mall all the way to the fifth floor. And according to the mall, it takes only 16 seconds to get down the slide from top to bottom.
The structure is set to open to the public next month and will be free of charge.
