'Tis the last rose of summer
夏日里最后一朵玫瑰，
Left blooming alone;
独自盛开的一缕花魂；
All her lovely companions
娇艳的姊妹全都枯萎,
Are faded and gone;
美丽的同伴尽皆凋零；
No flower of her kindred，
没有花朵相亲,
No rose-bud is nigh，
更无蓓蕾相近；
to reflect back her blushes，
哪有红颜把她的容颜映照,
Or give sigh for sigh.
何来叹息将她的叹息回应!
I'll not leave thee, thou lone one!
我不忍离你而去, 你这孤独的精灵；
To pine on the stem, since the lovely are sleeping，
百花皆已进入梦境,你却还在枝头独自心伤；
Go, sleep thou with them.
我怀着浓浓的柔情,
thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed
把你在花圃的落叶扫除；
Where thy mates of the garden
在这里园中伙伴已落入尘土,
Lie scentless and dead.
在这里群芳都已经香销玉殒。
So soon may I follow, when friendships decay
等到情意的花朵化为灰尘, 我就随后把你紧跟；
And from Love's shining circle
爱的光环耀眼,
The gems drop away.
只是花草一春；
When true hearts lie withered，
当知音告别尘世,
And fond ones are flown，
当真爱已经做古；
Oh! who would inhabit
呵！谁还会苟活人世，
This bleak world alone?
去无尽地饱尝孤独、冷清。
