Lots of snow can turn into a snowstorm.
It is dangerous to go outside in a big snowstorm.
Thunder Storms
Sometimes, we see big clouds in the sky.
Then we see some lightning.
After the lighting, we hear thunder.
It is a thunder storm.
Tornadoes
Tornadoes can come from big storm clouds.
The wind blows fast inside a tornado.
It goes round and round.
Tornadoes can blow down trees and houses, too.
The Biggest Storms
The biggest storms are called cyclones.
They start over the sea.
Then they move over the land.
In a cyclone, the wind blows hard and lots of rain falls.
Cyclones blow down trees and houses, too.
Lots of Rain
Rain gives us clean water to drink.
Rain helps plants to grow.
Sometimes, too much rain falls.
This is called a flood.
Rainy or Sunny?
This man can tell us if it will be rainy or sunny.
He can tell us if there will be stormy weather.
The weather balloon will help him find out how fast the wind blows.
